How to Export Your BAND Group Calendar

BAND has two calendar features that sound similar and do opposite things. For Sammi, you want Export Band Calendars, not Subscribe via URL.

The quick path

BAND group → Calendar → Manage Events → Export Band Calendars → Copy URL

Open BAND

Sammi only needs your calendar link. You do not give Sammi your BAND password.

Get Your BAND Calendar Link

  1. Open the right BAND group

    Open the team or group whose schedule you want.

    Open BAND

  2. Open Calendar

    Go to the group's Calendar tab.

  3. Open Manage Events

    Select Manage Events.

  4. Choose Export Band Calendars

    Select Export Band Calendars. Do not choose Subscribe via URL, that imports an outside calendar into BAND.

  5. Copy the URL

    Copy the calendar URL for the correct group or sub-calendar.

  6. Send it to Sammi

    Paste the exported BAND calendar link into Sammi.

That's it. You have the link Sammi needs.

If you see several calendars under Export Band Calendars, choose the one that actually contains your child's team events.

It pulls another calendar into BAND. It does not export the BAND schedule.

Can regular members export the calendar?

The export option is available to group members, not only admins.

Will the exported calendar update?

Yes. It is a calendar subscription feed, so future BAND event changes can flow through the same link.
