How to Find and Copy Your TeamSnap ICS Calendar Link
Need the actual calendar link for Sammi? Open TeamSnap in a web browser and follow the clicks below. A computer is easiest. You should be done in about two minutes.
The quick path
TeamSnap dashboard → Team → Schedule → Settings → Sync Calendar / Export → Copy calendar link
Sammi only needs the calendar link. You do not give Sammi your TeamSnap password.
Get Your TeamSnap Calendar Link
Open TeamSnap in a browser
Sign in at TeamSnap.com using a web browser. Use the website instead of the TeamSnap app for this process.
Open TeamSnapChoose the correct team
From your TeamSnap dashboard, select the team whose schedule you want Sammi to follow.

Select Settings
Inside the Schedule section, select the button labeled Settings.

Open Sync Calendar / Export
Select Sync Calendar / Export from the schedule settings.

Copy the calendar link
Copy the internet calendar or iCal link. Do not download the CSV export or copy the address of the regular TeamSnap webpage.

That's it. You have the link Sammi needs.
Your link may begin with webcal:// instead of https://, and it may not end in .ics. That can still be the correct calendar feed. Do not edit the link.

ICS, iCal and webcal refer to different parts of the same calendar-feed process. The important thing is copying the internet calendar link from Sync Calendar / Export, not the address shown in your browser.

Can't Find the Link?
I can't find Sync Calendar / Export
You are probably still using the TeamSnap app. Open TeamSnap.com in a web browser, select the team, open Schedule and then select Settings.
My link begins with webcal://
That is normal. Copy the complete link without changing it.
I downloaded a file instead of copying a link
Return to Sync Calendar / Export and look for the internet calendar or iCal link. Sammi needs the link that continues checking the schedule, not a CSV export.
I copied the address from my browser
That is the TeamSnap webpage address, not necessarily the calendar feed. Copy the link displayed inside Sync Calendar / Export.
The calendar stopped updating
Return to TeamSnap and copy the current calendar link again. Then replace the old link in Sammi.
TeamSnap Calendar Link Questions
Is an ICS link the same as an iCal link?
They refer to the same standard calendar format. You may also see the link begin with webcal://. For this setup, copy the complete internet calendar link TeamSnap provides.
Does the TeamSnap calendar link update automatically?
A subscribed calendar feed can include new events and schedule changes made in TeamSnap. The service reading the feed determines how frequently it checks for those updates.
Does the link have to end in .ics?
No. A valid calendar-feed URL does not always end in .ics.
Does Sammi need my TeamSnap password?
No. Sammi uses the calendar link. Do not send your TeamSnap password.
Can I use one link for several TeamSnap teams?
TeamSnap provides an all-team calendar link for rostered users. Sammi support for that combined feed is not confirmed yet, so use one team link at a time for now.
Is my calendar link private?
Treat the calendar-feed URL as private. Share it only with people and services you trust because someone with the link may be able to view the schedule it contains.
